Librarians write course guides for teachers and students. These guides assist students in initiating research and completing assignments for individual classes. Because most formal class-librarian interaction is with English classes, these classes represent the majority of available course guides. If the guide has been made for a particular teacher, their name is included in the label. Many subjects have their own subject guides as well.
Topical Guides cover a wide range of subjects from how to use eBooks, to Open Source Literature, to using databases, and anything that doesn't easily fit in Course Guides or Subject Guides. They can be very specific or they can be to used to browse and explore.
Subject guides can supplement course guides or stand alone.
You can watch videos, access articles and eBooks from off-campus but students may be asked for their A number and library password. Faculty and staff will be asked for their user name and library password.
