What's the different between @ and #
@middlesex_cc is addressing a user. Think of it as AT SOMEONE. In the case of @middlesex_cc, it's addressing the community college
#Blacklivesmatter is related to a movement, issue, or trend. It's a way to search, like Google. So #Blacklivesmatter is searching for tweets related to the movement.
On the Twitter search page, you can type in your hashtags. You can type in a few hashtags or just one. 
Or you can choose advanced search and you'll have more search options.
Type in the hashtag you're looking up, for this example we're going to use #blacklivesmatter
Look through the results. Remember since this page is in real time, it might be difficult to find the same tweet. If you find a tweet that's really helpful write down the person, time, and date.
Not finding exactly what you're looking for? Add another hashtag. The example below is #blacklivesmatter #brownlivesmatter . You don't need to include AND when you search.
