Our online catalog includes the MCC Library collections, along with the collections from the libraries in the HELM. The Higher Education Libraries of Massachusetts (HELM), is a collaboration of academic libraries throughout Massachusetts. You may request materials directly from all the HELM libraries with a library card and password. Materials from HELM are usually delivered within a few days.
You can also search MA public library catalogs Minuteman, MVLC, and more.
Enter the keywords of your topic in the search bar. Choose BOOKS as your format. This will search for physical books and eBooks in the MCC collection. Below is an example
Once you've found an eBook you want to read, scroll down until you see the link for MCC students. If you're off campus, you'll need to log in to your library account in order to access the book. Your username is your A# (capital A) and your date of birth (mmddyyyy).
Here's an example of an eBook record.
If you want to use a physical book, scroll down for the call number. You can use the call number to find the book on the shelf, or ask a librarian for help.
If you need to request the book, click on PLACE HOLD in the column on the right side. You'll need to enter your A# (capital A) and your date of birth (mmddyyyy) to log in. Remember that books can take a week or two to come in from other libraries.
