Entrepreneurship at MCC
Middlesex Community College is among the region's leaders in entrepreneurial education. Our faculty members are a diverse mix with experience in starting businesses and consulting with a broad range of business leaders in helping launch new innovative products and services.
The curriculum at MCC is interlaced with entrepreneurial modules and case studies designed to help students acquire the tools, develop the skills, and cultivate the initiative in organizing, launching, and managing successful new ventures.
IDEA Center
The new Innovation Development & Entrepreneur Assistance Center (IDEA Center) in Henderson Hall room 117 is available for use. Need a meeting space? Looking for resources to explore ideas? Looking to discuss ideas? The IDEA Center welcomes students and faculty from across the college who want to learn more about idea generation, innovation or entrepreneurship.
The IDEA Center will connect you with resources, community, and faculty expertise dedicated to promoting your journey as an entrepreneurial student.
Faculty leaders serve to inspire and mentor students in both for profit ventures as well as non-profit and social awareness initiatives by fostering a wide range of activities that are collaborative, hands-on and results-driven. Students typically attend conferences and participate in competitions that allow them to engage their entrepreneurial interests through a variety of experiences.
