Holocaust Remembrance Week  

Holocaust Remembrance Week is April 15 - 22, 2012. The Jewish holiday of Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) is April 29, 2012. Start here for ideas on where to start researching the topic, or for interesting resources. (gt 4/2012)

Selected Resources

Begin looking for Holocaust books and DVDs by browsing our print collection in call number  D.  You may also find general works on Genocide in call number HV.  You will find these call numbers in the stacks of books.  The call numbers are printed on the ends of each shelf, which will direct you to the right shelf.

A list of all of our databases, help sheets, and tutorials is available. For articles about Holocaust and Genocide history, social implications, literature, artistic representations, and reference, take a look at these online databases.

 

Subscriptions in the Library

These and other history and current event print subscriptions are available in the MCC Libraries

The current year of magazines are shelved in the periodical area. For back issues please consult a library staff member. History and current events materials may be checked out.

 

Troubleshooting

If you have problems accessing MCC databases take a look at these adjustments that may need to be made to your computer. A library card is NOT required to access library databases. Please look at these suggestions if you are prompted for your library card number. A library card is only necessary to check out or renew books.
