What are databases all about?

Library databases contain articles that are written by professionals and scholars in many fields.  You will definitely want to use the databases for research for your classes.  This is a link to all of our databases.

In the library you can........

  • use a scanner
  • get answers
  • get help finding articles, books, websites for assignments
  • get help with citations
  • find your friends and do some group work too
  • get books & films for fun and for school (from this library and from other libraries)
 

What can I borrow from the library?

Books

We have print books for research and popular fiction and non-fiction.

Reserve books-We have some textbooks for class to be used in the library.

E-books-We have books you can read on your computer or download to an e-reader.

DVDs

We have DVDs of popular movies as well documentary video for research and classes.

You will need a library card to check out books and DVDs, stop by the circulation desk to get a card. You will need your A# and some form of identification.

No library card is needed to access library databases and e-books

Computers & printing?

All library computers are attached to a networked printer.  Printing is free.

We have wi-fi so you can use your laptop but wireless printing is not available.
